Alternative Careers in Sports Academy (ACSA)

Part I — Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Alternative Careers in Sports Academy ("ACSA," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who uses our website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Services"), including prospective student-athletes, current athletes, parents/guardians, event registrants, and general visitors.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and the choices you have. By accessing or using our Services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Communications: Information you provide when you contact us or refer another athlete through our "Refer an Athlete" program.

Information Collected Automatically: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, and interaction data collected via cookies and similar technologies, plus aggregated analytics data.

Information From Third Parties: Payment processors (Stripe), educational institutions/coaches/team representatives, and financial services partners.

3. Information Regarding Minors

Many student-athletes we work with are under 18. We collect personal information from a minor only with the involvement, knowledge, and consent of a parent or legal guardian. Applications and onboarding for minors require parental/guardian consent before an athlete portal account is activated. Parents/guardians may contact us at any time to review, correct, or request deletion of their child's information. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent, consistent with COPPA.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to: evaluate applications and eligibility for representation; create and manage athlete portal accounts and display college offers, documents, and notes; facilitate NIL representation, deal flow, and connections with financial advisory partners; process event registrations and payments; communicate about your application, account, or registration; deliver financial literacy curriculum; improve and secure our Services; comply with legal and regulatory obligations; and detect and prevent fraud or abuse. We do not sell your personal information.

5. How We Share Your Information

We may share information with: service providers (hosting, app platform, and Stripe for payments); financial & advisory partners (e.g., Valor Financial Advisors) where necessary to provide services you've requested; educational institutions & teams where relevant to representing an athlete, with appropriate consent; and as required for legal, safety, or business transfer purposes. We do not share athlete financial, contract, or personal information with unrelated third parties for their own marketing.

6. Payment Information

Event registration and ticket purchases are processed through Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers. Your use of Stripe is also subject to Stripe's own privacy policy and terms.

7. Cookies and Tracking

Our Services may use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember preferences, understand usage, and support registration/payment functionality. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

8. Data Retention and Security

We retain personal information as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes above, including legal and tax obligations, then take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it. We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards — including secure document storage and encrypted payment processing through Stripe — though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, update, or request deletion of your information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent (for minors, exercised by a parent/guardian); or request a portable copy of your data. Contact us using Section 13 of these Terms (below) to exercise these rights.

10. Third-Party Links

Our Services may link to third-party websites (educational institutions, partner financial services sites). We are not responsible for their privacy practices.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy with an updated "Last Updated" date, and provide additional notice for material changes.

Part II — Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Services. By accessing or using the Services, applying to "Join the CSA Team," registering for an ACSA event, or otherwise interacting with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are under 18, you may only use the Services with the involvement, knowledge, and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Description of Services

ACSA provides a platform supporting student-athletes in: NIL representation and deal flow; financial literacy curriculum and education; retirement income planning, life & disability insurance, legacy & estate planning, and tax minimization strategy (delivered in partnership with financial advisory partners such as Valor Financial Advisors); an athlete portal for college offers and documents; and events, including the ACSA NIL Summit for Student-Athletes.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

Access to the athlete portal is limited to prospective and current student-athletes who apply and are approved. You agree to provide accurate, current information and to keep it updated, and are responsible for your account's security. For applicants under 18, a parent or legal guardian must complete or approve the application, onboarding, and any contracts. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance into ACSA's representation program.

4. NIL Representation and Advisory Services

Any NIL representation, deal flow, or financial advisory relationship is subject to a separate signed agreement, which governs specific terms, fees, and scope. ACSA does not guarantee any specific NIL deal, offer, draft outcome, or financial result. Financial planning, insurance, estate, and tax-related services are provided in coordination with licensed third-party advisors/partners, and nothing on the Services constitutes individualized financial, legal, or tax advice absent a signed engagement with a licensed professional.

5. Athlete Portal Content

You retain ownership of documents, photos, bios, and other materials you upload ("Your Content"). By submitting Your Content, you grant ACSA a limited license to use, store, and display it as necessary to provide the Services (e.g., presenting your profile to college programs or NIL partners) and for legitimate promotional or educational purposes. College offers displayed in the portal are informational and may be entered manually by ACSA staff; ACSA is not responsible for the accuracy of third-party offer information. You may not upload false, infringing, or unlawful content.

6. Events and Payments

Registration and ticket purchases for ACSA events are subject to availability and event-specific terms provided at checkout. Payments are processed through Stripe, and by purchasing you also agree to Stripe's terms. [Insert refund/cancellation policy.] ACSA reserves the right to modify event details and will make reasonable efforts to notify registrants of material changes.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: use the Services unlawfully or in violation of these Terms; misrepresent your identity, athletic credentials, or eligibility; attempt unauthorized access to another user's account or portal data; upload malicious code or scrape/interfere with the Services; or use the Services to solicit or recruit athletes or advisory clients outside your authorized relationship with ACSA. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

8. Intellectual Property

The Services, including text, graphics, logos, curriculum materials, and software (excluding Your Content), are owned by ACSA or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from our materials without prior written consent, except for personal, non-commercial use.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. ACSA DOES NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE SERVICE, OR THAT ANY NIL, FINANCIAL, OR RECRUITING OUTCOME WILL RESULT FROM USE OF THE SERVICES.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ACSA AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. ACSA's TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO ACSA, IF ANY, IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ACSA and its officers, employees, and partners from claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, misuse of the Services, or infringement of a third-party right.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access, including your athlete portal account, at any time for violation of these Terms or as required by a separate representation agreement. You may also request termination by contacting us.

13. Governing Law and Contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [Insert State — e.g., Florida], without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in [Insert County/State]. [Insert arbitration clause if applicable.] We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
